OREANDA-NEWS. October 2, 2012. Transaero Airlines results for the first eight months of 2012 demonstrate the carrier’s stable development and increase of all key operational indicators. In January- August 2012:

• Passenger turnover reached 27.114 billion RPK (26.2% increase in comparison with the first eight months of 2011)

• The total number of passengers carried amounted to 6,916,827 (24% increase in comparison with the same period last year)

• Transaero transported a total amount of 39,807.05 tons of cargo (29.6% increase in comparison with January-August of 2011)

• Cargo traffic totaled 2.668 billion RTK (26.5% increase in comparison with the same period last year).

In August separately Transaero has carried 1,327,681 passengers which is another record — breaking indicator for the carrier.
