As part of the continued build-out of the product capabilities of the Sberbank CIB1 platform, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Vlada Gosal as Debt Capital Markets Managing Director. Vlada joins the Corporate Finance team on October 1, 2012. She will report to Pavel Sokolov, Co-head of Corporate Finance, Managing Director.

Vlada Gosal arrives from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), where she was Head of DCM for Russia and CIS. She brings nearly ten years of experience as a DCM professional which has included stints in London, New York, and Moscow. Gosal began her career in 2003 in the Origination Department of SG CIB, initially covering some of the industry’s largest S&P 500 clients before moving on to concentrate on building the bank’s Russia/CIS DCM2 platform. She then worked for BNP Paribas in London and Moscow, and was one of the key players responsible for setting up the company’s Russia/CIS DCM platform. While at BAML, Gosal reinvigorated the company’s DCM presence in Russia, focusing on re-establishing an efficient DCM platform in the region and building a successful team.
