OREANDA-NEWS. October 1, 2012. ANTONOV Company welcomes participants and guests of the 8th International aviation and space salon Aviasvit-XXI at its flight test base in Gostomel town, Kyiv-Antonov airport. ANTONOV represents to your attention the modern ANTONOV aircraft, most of which has no equal in the world.

Visitors of the exhibition will familiar with innovative aviation science intensive technologies. Development of such technologies has to become a basis for keeping and augmenting intellectual potential of the nation, including technical education of creative young people.

During two years after the previous Aviasvit exhibition, aviation programs in Ukraine were considerably developed. The new AN-148 regional jets mastered domestic routes of Ukraine and Russia as well as international air ways. They carried one million and three hundreds passengers to 65 town in 37 countries of the world. New 99-seat AN-158 was certified. In Ukraine, these airplanes are serially produced at ANTONOV Serial plant. New aircraft of the AN-148/-158 family are developed. New variants of the famous super heavy transport AN-124-100 Ruslan were designed. Assumption of serial production of the modernized airplane is in progress. ANTONOV works also on development of other new airplanes and modernization of the existing ones. In particular, the enterprise completed upgrading of the AN-70 military transport. Serial AN-70 equipped with upgraded avionics will surpass its main European competitor the A400M.

Regarding other enterprises of the ANTONOV State Aircraft Building Concern, the Plant 410 of Civil Aviation SE is continuing overhaul of the AN-32 light transports of Indian AF in accordance with the contract, which is one of the greatest agreement in the history of aviation field of Ukraine. Kharkov State Aircraft Manufacturing Company is continuing construction of multipurpose airplanes of the AN-74 and takes part in cooperation on the AN-140 production.

We are sure, that Aviasvit-XXI will traditionally become a place of business meetings to find new partners, sign the contracts and come to the agreements. Future of Ukrainian aviation is connected with Expansion of the cooperation between the enterprises of Ukraine and foreign partners is a key factor for further development of the aircraft industry in our country.
