Belarus Offers Ukraine to Establish JV for Production of Medicines
OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2012. Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhaylo Myasnikovych suggested considering the possibility of a joint venture for the production of medicines. He said this in Yalta during a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
"We ask you to consider the possibility of establishing a joint venture in the pharmaceutical industry", - said Mikhaylo Myasnikovych. He added that Belarus annually imports significant amounts of drugs. And the creation of such an enterprise is mutually beneficial.
However Mykola Azarov promised to study and consider the proposal, noting that Ukraine has advanced technology for the production of medicines.
Also the parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation.
