OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has financed construction of a volleyball court in Birobidzhan. The grand opening of the new sports facility was held on September 22, during the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the city.

The volleyball court was built in one of the city yards and made available for every sports enthusiast. Having allocated the funds for the court’s construction, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company joined the large-scale campaign on providing city yard amenities “Our Birobidzhanian Yard” held at the initiative of Andrey Parkhomenko, Mayor of Birobidzhan. Over 200 entrepreneurs and economic entities of the city took part in the campaign.

The new volleyball court has become a unique gift from the hero of the anniversary to the same, as Ingosstrakh Insurance Company celebrates its 65th anniversary this year.

“We have willingly answered the offer of the city administration to participate in the campaign on provision of city yard amenities,” comments Alexey Sokolov, Deputy General Director of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, Head of the Olympic Headquarters of the Company. “It’s not the first year our company actively supports sports, environmental and social initiatives of both federal and regional level. For us, victories of young sports enthusiasts are equally important as those of our Olympians. We hope that the new volleyball court will become the favorite spot of outdoor activities for children and teenagers, and probably future Olympic champions.”
