OREANDA-NEWS.  September 28, 2012. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 416 “On introducing amendments and additions to Belarus President’s Decree No. 9 of 10 January 2005 and Decree No. 599 of 19 November 2010.”

The decree sets forth more conditions to protect citizens from gambling addiction using the mechanism of self-limitation of people from the games of luck. Moreover, gambling organizers will have to check identity cards of all visitors.

A special electronic cash system will be introduced to monitor the implementation of legislation by gambling houses. The system should be put into operation by 1 December 2013.
