According to the National Bank of Moldova, the average yield rate was 9.48% for individuals and 4.84% for legal entities in August. In July it made up 9.62% and 5.17% respectively. The highest yield rate on time deposits in MDL equalled to 13.07% for deposits attracted from individuals for over 5 years.

The average yield on deposits attracted for up to 1 month was 4.19%, including 6.06% for individuals and 4.09% for legal entities. It was 3.73% on time deposits attracted for 1 to 3 months, being 6.23% for individuals and 3.63% for legal entities; 6.83% o time deposits attracted for 3 to 6 months, including 8.74% for individuals and 5.02% for legal entities; 8.88% on time deposits attracted for 6 to 12 months, being 9.77% for individuals and 5.37% for legal entities.

The average yield rate on time deposits attracted in MDL for 1 to 2 years made up 9.41% in August, being 9.64% for individuals and 8.77% for legal entities. It was 10.66% on time deposits attracted in MDL for 2 to5 years, making 10.96% for individuals and 10.02% for legal entities.
