OREANDA-NEWS.  September 28, 2012. Ukraine has the potential to increase exports of medicinal products. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The PM noted that Ukrainian producers, domestic science can create and produce a wide range of modern and high quality latest medical equipment. Mykola Azarov has once again convinced in this visiting the exhibition of domestic scientific research, including medical equipment yesterday, as part of the forum "Science, innovation and technology."

According to him, the competition in this market by foreign companies only encourages them to maintain a high technical level and quality of medical devices, advanced diagnostic systems, the introduction of advanced scientific and technological achievements. For example, these are modern ultrasound machines, mammography, digital X-ray equipment, a gamma camera, magnetic cardiographs, a new generation of test systems for screening for HIV-AIDS, and more.

"Demonstrated at the exhibition technology is not only better than foreign. It is much cheaper. This is the guarantee that as soon as possible we can retool with modern equipment of domestic production all medical institutions of Ukraine. Moreover, we have the potential to increase exports of these products. Indeed, in some areas, we compete with world leaders. It is a time to work for our own"- Mykola Azarov said.
