OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company acted as the partner and official insurer of the All-Russian Running Day “Nations’ Cross 2012” held in Irkutsk on September 23 this year. The event was organized by the Ministry of Physical Education, Sport and Youth Policy of Irkutsk Region and Irkutsk Regional Social Agency “Athletics Federation”.

Running competitions for the distances of 4, 6, 8 and 12 km were held. The shortest distance was intended for a mass race where any volunteer above 9 years could take part. Also, the event program included a separate distance of 2,014 meters, which was a symbol of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

According to the contract with Irkutsk Regional Social Agency “Athletics Federation”, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company provided accident insurance for all participants of the contest totaling about 6,000 people. The insurance covered the accidental death risk, full or partial disablement, injuries or other bodily harm for the race participants.
