OREANDA-NEWS.  September 27, 2012. At the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaliy Zakharchenko September 1, ordinary militiamen’s allowance will be increased by 200 UAH. This decision is a logical continuation of the head of department performance promises to enhance social protection, especially those lower-and middle-ranking officials of the Interior.

The increase of allowance to militiamen was made possible through reallocation, which previously was provided for the payment of financial assistance to law enforcement agencies for retirement.

Recall the last wage increase lower-level militia officer was held on February 1 this year. Then income of a policeman was 1600 UAH per month.
