OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2012.  In an open house launch event at the new headquarters attended by ophthalmologists, business partners, and local officials, Thomas A. Dunlap, President and CEO of HOYA Surgical Optics, said: “Our business has grown rapidly and become more globally integrated. We have had a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Singapore since 2003, and the integration of headquarter functions in 2011 enhanced our operational efficiency and brought us closer to customers in important emerging markets. The move to new offices in the Millenia Tower is the next phase in our ongoing growth strategy and will allow us to bring additional resources to our organization.”

 The addition of capabilities in Singapore was further described as reinforcement of the important professional collaborations between HOYA Surgical Optics and Singapore’s leading ophthalmic and research institutions, as well as the valuable business collaboration between HOYA and the Singapore Economic Development Board.

 Mr. Dunlap noted that the timing of the new headquarters coincides with the 25th anniversary of HOYA Surgical Optics and highlights their legacy of innovation in optics and customer care.
