OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2012. The leading engineering company of TITAN-2 Holding, CONCERN TITAN-2 has become a winner of the municipal competition and signed a contract for construction of the foot bridge. This engineering structure will connect the "Zarechie" housing complex with the key infrastructure facilities of the city.

As of today, all the necessary documentation for performance of earth works and construction works has been obtained and the preparation stage and the construction site arrangement have started. In the nearest future, the ground will be drilled for bridge piers installation, and in October, the first metal structures will be delivered to the construction site.

The key parameters of the future bridge prove that it will be a permanent engineering structure. The length of the bridge span will be about 160 metres, and it will have bituminous concrete pavement. For illumination of foot paths 17 folding piers are provided with vandal-proof lights. Such structure is convenient for the service by the special vehicles of "Gorelectroset". This structure is supposed to provide comfortable foot walk for one thousand and half people a day. All the loads are designed only for pedestrians, so this bridge will be closed for vehicles. According to the design, the construction cost will be about 34 million rubles.

The task for the builders is to construct the bridge by the end of December. The bridge testing and obtaining the permit for organizing pedestrian traffic will start at the beginning of the next year. The works will be finished by the soil remedy and site improvement.
