PM of Ukraine Demands to Restore Centralized Lighting in Villages
OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2012. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov requires heads of regional and district administrations to restore centralized lighting in rural and small-town settlements in Ukraine. This was started by Mykola Azarov during a round table meeting on the development of agriculture and rural areas of Ukraine, which the Prime Minister held during his working trip to Ternopil Region.
"I set the task before the heads of regional state administrations to all the villages were lighting" - Mykola Azarov said.
The Prime Minister said that the Government continues to implement a program for the reconstruction and construction of warm toilets for rural schools. He added that in some settlements, particularly in western Ukraine there are still schools where pupils have to use the toilets, which are located in the yard.
In turn, the head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration Valentin Hoptyan noted that in the Ternopil Region, all school toilets are located in school’s buildings.
