OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2012. The farmers will be able to get a special grant from the state equal to UAH 2.5 per kilogram for sale ponderous cattle to meat processing plants.

The relevant resolution is a continuation of the program of budgetary subsidies on payment for the maintenance and preservation of young cattle. That was stated by Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food.

"Today we complete coordination with other ministries of regulations on compensation in the amount of UAH 2.50 per kilogram for sale ponderous cattle by individual farmers. This will help overcome negative tendencies of reducing livestock and beef production volumes, to prevent cutting out of a little weight calves and will increase its receipt to the industrial processing," said the Minister.
