Ukraine, Poland to Expand Local Border Traffic
OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2012. Ukraine and Poland accelerate work on expanding local border traffic. The President told media representatives that the given issue had been discussed in the course of Ukrainian-Polish negotiations.
The Head of State also noted the importance of the Agreement between Ukraine and Poland on the abolition of payment for processing national long-term visas, which entered into force on September 15. "This document will allow thousands of citizens of our states to save significant money,” he said.
The President also informed that the intergovernmental agreement on opening on the common border the new road crossing point “Nyzhankovychi-Malkhovychi” that would relieve the existing border crossings would be signed today.
