Moldova Presents New Methods of Indirect Taxations of Individuals
OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2012. Individuals owning property and money at the sum of 1 mln. leis and spending more than 500 thou. leis a year have to submit disposable incomes declarations to the Fiscal Service. This is stipulated by new methods of indirect taxations of individuals which came into effect this year.
According to the Press Service of the State Fiscal Service, methods of indirect taxation are applicable to citizens of Moldova not doing business who, starting from January 1, 2012, have become owners of real estate, securities, means of transportation or money at a total some of over 1 mln. leis and spent 500 thou. leis.
To justify expenses of over 500 thou. leis the citizens are asked to submit disposable incomes declarations to territorial offices of the State Fiscal Service til the end of 2012. If the disposable incomes exceed 1 mln. leis, the declaration must be accompanied by documents which prove a sum declared exists. A sum declared is said not to be taxable.
The State Fiscal Service also remind that citizens have to keep all documents justifying actual value of all bargains, including purchases and sales of real estate, transport means and other expensive commodities, as well as import of currency to Moldova.
