OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2012. The 20th anniversary of the Presidential Decree signing (dated September 18, 1992 № 479/92) on the approval of Temporary regulations concerning the legal protection of industrial property and rationalization proposals is being observed in Ukraine.

This legal act has given the opportunity to approve Temporary provision of representatives in intellectual Property (patent attorneys) under the State Patent Office of Ukraine, to hold their first certification and provide temporary status of patent attorneys 21 persons.

Total in 1992 there have been registered 83 patent attorneys - those in the independent Ukraine for the first time officially represented the interests of inventors, scientists and other creative individuals and businesses in matters concerning intellectual property.
