OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2012. Vyacheslav Shport, Governor of Khabarovsk Region, went on a working visit to the Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island where he met the builders of SK MOST Group of Companies who have completed the first phase of construction of a bridge over the Amurskaya Channel.

The builders have already erected the footings for all 10 pillars of the bridge. They are finishing with erection of the abutments and conduct operations to erect the channel pillars. Installation of the bridge span structures will start in November.

The bridge is scheduled for commissioning in October next year. The design cost of the bridge is 4.6 billion rubles (150 million dollars), and the work has been completed for over 2 billion rubles.
