OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2012. Specialists from TITANSTROYSERVIS, CJSC are completing drainage work and have started foundation works at the Training Complex building of Leningrad NPP-2 .

In the course of the work the builders of TITAN -2 holding’s subsidiary have concreted two separately located foundations, into the basis of which 860 m3 of concrete was laid. Currently, the building’s concrete foundation mattress for the main slab is being prepared. At the beginning of October, the builders are going to start the slab concreting . 900 m3 of concrete and 150 tons of reinforcement is to be laid into this structural element.

The cast- in works related to erection of the building framing are supposed to be finished at the beginning of the future year. In accordance with the design, the Training Centre is a three-storey building including the deep basement. The specialists from TITANSTROYSERVIS, CJSC will perform the construction of this facility on turnkey basis, including the site improvement.

Let us remind that the construction of the Training Centre started in the first quarter of 2012. The Holding’s transport Company OJSC UAT cleared 2 Ha of territory, performed ground levelling and prepared the excavation pit for construction. After completion of preparatory work, another Holding’s organization TITANSTROYSERVIS, CJSC joined the construction of the frame for the future training complex.

In accordance with the effective schedules, the facility construction must be completed at the end of 2013. The key complex function will be training of the plant’s operational personnel to work in different modes. Putting this facility into operation will allow the reliability of the plant management to be increased, the level of its personnel training and development to be improved.
