Ukraine, Kazakhstan to Develop Cooperation in Aerospace Industry
OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2012. Ukraine and Kazakhstan should develop cooperation in the aerospace industry. This was stated by First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Kalimbetov, which took place as part of the 9th annual meeting in Yalta "Yalta European Strategy" (YES).
Parties welcomed the dynamics of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. "The total bilateral trade in 2011 amounted to 3 billion 736 million dollars, an increase over the previous year by 72%. The upward trend in turnover remains in this year, which is a good sign for our countries"- Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi said.
According to him, Ukraine and Kazakhstan should use the full range of opportunities to expand trade and economic cooperation both at the bilateral level and to meet the requirements of the Customs Union.
