OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2012. A cultural park will be built in Bozhou of Anhui province in memory of Cao Cao, a local political celebrity who lived nearly 2,000 years ago, local authorities said on Monday.

The Bozhou Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism announced that construction of the Cao Cao Cultural Park will kick off in late 2012.

With the existing Cao Cao Park as its part, the cultural park will consist of four zones each for showcasing Cao Cao-related culture, serving as a place of worship, exhibiting sculptures and a stone tablet inscribed with an anthology of Cao's poems and offering recreational facilities, according to a plan on the project.

The project is set to be solely funded by the local government, sources said.
