OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2012. The Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company concluded a ship owners liability insurance agreement in respect of m/v GREEN TUNDRA vessel that belongs to Gidrostroy CJSC. In accordance with the agreement conditions, the limit of liability amounts to USD 15 M.

The insurance program ensures protection against risks related to liability to crew members and third persons, who are not crew members, liability for collision with other vessels, damage to immovable and floating objects, environmental pollution with oil and other substances, liability for preservation of freight at transportation, as well as expenses related to prevention and reduction of losses, investigation of circumstances of insurance cases and legal expenses. The coverage also includes other risks, accepted in the international practice of liability insurance.

This is the third ship owners liability insurance agreement concluded with Gidrostroy this year.

Gidrostroy CJSC is one of the largest fishing industry companies of Sakhalin Region. The company has been successfully working on the world market for 16 years, and it is also the main city-forming enterprise which has a key meaning in Kurilsky District infrastructure formation. Gidrostroy CJSC is one of the largest fish products manufacturer in Sakhalin Region. The main share in the volume of production is occupied by frozen fish and fillet produced for the Russian market and for export.
