OREANDA-NEWS.  September 18, 2012. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, as compared with July, 2011 it increased 1.2%. In January-July, 2012 production grew 7.5% in the mining industry and 0.9% in the processing one. The energy sector (generation and distribution of electricity and heat) saw the decline of 4.4%.

In January-July, 2012 it was produced 7.2% more foodstuff and beverages than in the same period in 2011. In this period production of vegetable oils and fats increased 25.9%. Production, processing and canning of meat grew 18.1%. Processing and canning of the fruit and vegetables increased 9.3%. Production of wine increased 9.2% , distilled alcohol beverages by 9.1%, milk and dairy by 7%, mineral water and refreshers by 2.8%.

Production of medical devices, precious and optical instruments increased 1.6 times; it was produced 32.3% more electrical machines and equipment, 3.3% more textiles and 1.2% more non-metal mineral products (glass, concrete, gypsum and cement items). At the same time, in this period it was produced 38% less flour-grinding products, 22% less tobacco goods and 20.3% less cloths. A decline of production made up 18.7% in the metallurgic industry, 18.7% in the engineering industry, 17.8% in the paper and cardboard producing industry and 15.3% in leather and foot wear industry. Production of printed materials decreased 8.3%.

Amounts of woodworking decreased 7%, production of metal ware declined 6.5%. Heat and hot water supply decreased 5.3%, bread and pastry production declined 4.8%, chemical production shrank 4.2%. Power production and distribution glided 3.7%, cacao, chocolate and confectionary manufacture declined 2.8%.
