OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2012. Since 2010 our company has been receiving financial support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD) for export development programs and energy saving projects, there are also allocated funds for logistics improvement in Ukraine and it is a great honor for us.

The EBRD actively participates in implementation of the investment project of “NIBULON” to revive the Dnipro and the Southern Bug rivers as transport waterways of Ukraine. In 2010 the company obtained a loan of USD 50 mln from this international organization.

In September 20110 an official delegation of the EBRD, headed by European Commission Director Vassili Lelakis, visited the transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city.

In November 2011 the EBRD recognized the company as a winner of the Ukrainian Energy Efficiency Program (UKEEP).

This year the partnership between “NIBULON” and the EBRD will be extended. In July 2012 the Board of Directors of the EBRD decided to allocate up to USD 130 mln syndicated loan facility to “NIBULON”. This facility will be used for financing of working capital needs associated with trading operations. Such trust is a mutual demonstration of partner relations.

Taking “NIBULON’s” activity as an example, the international financial organization hopes that greater investment from Ukrainian private companies and logistics development can increase harvests in Ukraine and double Ukrainian export.
