Bank of Moscow Develops Lending to Small Businesses in St Petersburg
OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2012. Within the St Petersburg subsidiary of the Bank of Moscow, a Small Business Administration has been set up to bring the services provided to small business enterprises in the city up to a new quality standard and increase their scope by extending convenient and beneficial bank loans and associated products and services.
For clients of the Bank of Moscow, a variety of programmes are envisaged for financing investment projects and working capital. Moreover, the Bank is using special technologies for assessing credit-worthiness, taking into consideration the specifics of St Petersburg small businesses. The Bank offers loans of up to RUB 150 million to small businesses with annual revenues of up to RUB 300 million, including collateral-free loans of up to RUB 1.5 million.
"The Bank of Moscow subsidiary plans to occupy one of the leading positions on the market for lending to small businesses in St Petersburg, for which purpose it has formed a strong team of high class specialists in small business management", commented Andrey Alexandrov, head of the new Administration on the launch of its activities.
Andrey Alexandrov, Cand. Sc. (Econ.), graduated from the banking faculty of St Petersburg State University for Economics and Finances and has an MBA from the Stockholm University Business School. Andrey began his career in the banking sphere in 2003 with ZAO Ruscobank and, over the last nine years, has held various positions with ZAO MKPB Moscomprivat Bank, ZAO National Mortgage Bank and OAO Promsvyazbank.
