OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2012. The EBX Group will be present for the third consecutive year at Rio Oil & Gas, the most important oil and gas fair in Latin America, which will take place from September 17 to 20 at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro. The group will be represented by OGX (oil and gas), OSX (shipbuilding and offshore) and LLX (logistics) which together will occupy stand N29, one of the main areas in Pavilion 3.

In addition to taking part in the fair as an exhibitor, OGX is also the exclusive sponsor of the official app for Rio Oil & Gas 2012, which brings together the main event information such as agenda, participants, speakers, maps, news and general information. The app, available in iOS (iPhone), Android and Blackberry, marks the 30 years of the fair and can be downloaded at www.riooilgas.com.br.

As the anchor company of the stand, OGX will present its main production projects in the Campos Basin and in the Parnaiba Basin. Audiovisual attractions will show technical details of the production model in the Tubarao Azul and Tubarao Martelo fields (Campos Basin) and in the Gaviao Real and Gaviao Azul fields (Parnaiba Basin), where gas production will start by the end of the year. The stand will feature a mini-lab, where rock samples (cylindrical samples with oil in them) obtained by OGX will be on show.

OSX in turn will show what gives the company its differential in the market as a provider of integrated solutions for the shipbuilding and offshore industry, as well as the Acu Shipbuilding Unit (UCN Acu), the largest shipyard in the Americas. In an exclusive space, OSX will use technological resources to present its three business areas. A 2 meter interactive media space takes the visitor through the complete chain of integrated solutions, with images, videos and information at a touch. The UCN Acu liquid crystal mockup will show the areas of the shipyard in high relief with digital content, detailing each part of the process and the differentials of the project. Visitors will also be able to watch the institutional and UCN Acu videos on two monitors.

On Monday, September 17, the first day of the event, OSX will hold a press conference, at 3:30 pm, in Pavilion 5, Room 206, with the Board of Directors of the company present, to give an update on the projects underway and on the progress of work at the UCN Acu, which begins operations in the first quarter of 2013.

LLX will present the Acu Superport, the largest investment in port infrastructure in the Americas. Using a touch screen, visitors will get to know details of the venture, such as the Oil Treatment Unit and the Multicargo Terminal. Two panels will also show the Acu Superport Industrial Complex, with emphasis on TX2, the onshore terminal, which has a 2 million m? area where companies providing services for the oil and gas sector can set up.
