FUIB Lends UAH 0.5 Billion to Ukraine Agricultural Sector
OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2012. In 2012 First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) has penetrated more actively into financing agricultural businesses in Ukraine. On the eve of the new agricultural season FUIB launched special products and services for agricultural businesses with annual turnover of up to UAH 80 million. FUIB offers privileged terms for financing everyday agricultural operations and for purchase of new farming and harvesting equipment. As a result, FUIB granted agricultural enterprises loans totaling around UAH 500 million since the beginning of the year.
“FUIB has clients among large agricultural holdings as well as small and medium agribusiness. We offer a tailored approach to each customer and flexible credit terms. We will continue to improve our product line and plan to develop new attractive partner programs for agricultural companies to meet customer expectations in the best possible way,” says Aleksey Volchkov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board in charge of FUIB’s corporate business.
In September FUIB became a participant in the international agrarian exhibition AGRO-2012, a key event in Ukraine’s agrarian market for many years. FUIB’s exhibition participation was in partnership with Agro Soyuz Ltd., one of the leaders in agricultural equipment sales. The Bank’s exhibit presented a range of specialized products for agricultural companies: joint credit programs with partners of the bank, savings programs, and “Agro,” a special offer for cash and settlement services.
FUIB offers working capital loans (for purchasing seeds, fertilizers, POL) up to 36 months, and new equipment loans for up to 60 months depending on the country of origin of the equipment (USA, Japan, European countries, CIS or Ukraine). The loan repayment schedule may take into account the seasonality of the production cycle. FUIB’s agricultural lending programmes are distinguished by the absence of hidden charges and fees. Also, an opportunity exists to receive a privileged loan within special partner programmes.
FUIB offers agricultural businesses privileged terms of cash and settlement services within the “Agro” service package. With this package the customer enjoys low national currency cash service fees, subscription to the Client-Bank system free of charge and a bonus interest rate for the balance on a current account. Thus, an account owner generates additional income from its temporary untied funds and decreases expenses thanks to a number of free monthly payments made in the Client-Bank system.
