OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2012. The signing ceremony of the Strategic Partnership Agreement between Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group and Shanghai Dukeen Photoelectric Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the "Shanghai Dukeen") was held, followed by the opening ceremony of the establishment of Baosteel Semiconductor Lighting Application & Technology Promotion Center, established by the two companies jointly, reported the press-centre of Baosteel. 

In recent years, environmental management has become an important part of the Baosteel new round of strategic development. In order to further improve Baosteel's environment management system, enhance the whole process research in depth and implement the commitment in energy saving and carbon emission reduction, and promote application of the environmental-friendly technologies and processes, Baosteel Energy, as a subsidiary of Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group, is willing to make a close cooperation with Shanghai Dukeen to build up the center.

Shanghai Dukeen, registered and located in the Baoshan Industrial Park, as a high-tech enterprise, based on the strong support offered by R & D of Dukeen Technology Group U.S., the company has initially developed into the one integrated with research, development, production and sales for high-power LED. Shanghai Dukeen has serveral professional teams and technical strengthsin the fields of application, appearance, structure and electronic of LED prodcts, and design and development on LED driver power supply and other disciplines. Baosteel Energy serves for Baosteel Group as the platform, centralizes integration of energy-saving technology, integration of finance and industry and industrialization of results made from R & D. The company, as the leader in the energy saving industry in China, has accumulated rich experience and innovative capabilities in the four major business sections, i.e. energy management consulting, recovery of waste heat and remained energy, energy saving in fan and pump systems and energy-saving buildings. Previously, the two parties had worked together to carry out the revamping project of LED lighting system for road lamps within the Baosteel Plant, they had a three batches of  original road lamps replaced totally, and achieved remarkable success.

In the Future, Baosteel Energy and Shanghai Dukeen will be committed itself to make a win-win cooperation to take the complementary advantages of each other, hand in hand and step to forward. The two companies make joint efforts in the three aspects of improving the abilities in application of integrated technology in the high-power LED lighting systems, provideing customers with the services to set up high-efficient, comfortable and energy-saving lighting system, promoting R & D on the technologies of LED lighting and industrialization of R & D results, in turn, the two companies further provide the better services to Baosteel and society.

Moreover, by focusing on developping the new type of health, environmental-friendly, standardized semiconductor lighting products in various specifications, they are to work together to build up a model enterprise in producing green lighting products.
