“Today, the authority of Uzbekistan in the international arena is being strengthened more and more. Leading companies of many countries have shown great interest in investing directly in your country. Uzbekistan together with the developed countries and authoritative international organizations, is implementing a number of promising projects. It should be noted that in Uzbekistan, a special attention is paid to the development and support of small business and private entrepreneurship, attraction of the investments in all sectors of the economy. We are seeing positive results of these measures.”

I was in Uzbekistan twenty years ago. I can’t hide my admiration for the tremendous changes and progress made during the last period in the economy, construction, tourism and in other spheres. In Uzbekistan, there are a lot of subjects of small businesses and private entrepreneurship, which undoubtedly contribute to the further development of the economy. This sector is well developed also in the Netherlands. 60% of total exports of the country fall on the share of small business and private entrepreneurship.

I note with admiration the work carried out in Uzbekistan in the development of urban infrastructure and the further improvement of the country, development of hotel business and services.”

“The “Uzbek model” of development consistently implemented in Uzbekistan under the direction of President Islam Karimov is yielding its significant results. Resources accumulated as a result of sound economic policy create wide opportunities for the further dynamic growth.

Stability and economic growth of Uzbekistan in recent years have confirmed the effectiveness of your country’s chosen model of development. Particular attention given to the economic issues like support and strengthening of the budget, financial, banking and credit systems, the real sector of the economy, modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of production in order to increase competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets has a great importance.

Representatives of the private sector in Uzbekistan are actively involved in the implementation of many large-scale joint projects with large firms and companies, financial institutions in foreign countries.

Large-scale reforms implemented in the economy of Uzbekistan, especially in the sphere of small business and private entrepreneurship is becoming an important factor in increasing the inflow of investments into the national economy. The representatives of the private sector in Uzbekistan are taking an active part in the implementation of many important joint projects with the participation of large firms and companies, as well as financial institutions of foreign countries.”

“I’m going to make a presentation at the international conference “On the role and importance of small business and private entrepreneurship in the implementation of socio-economic policy in Uzbekistan”, on effective business relationship between the USA, China and Uzbekistan. I work in China for a long time and closely watching the ongoing reforms in the country in the sphere of business. Uzbekistan and China realize a lot of promising joint projects in the field of small business and private entrepreneurship. Appropriate legal base established in Uzbekistan is a guarantee of freedom of entrepreneurship. In this process, incentives and preferences created in your country aimed at legal protection and support of entrepreneurs have an important role.”

“Our company, operating for 60 years, is specialized in manufacturing of technologies for the chemical industry. We are working closely with Europe and Asia, our products are in high demand in the world markets. By partaking in this international conference, I hope to meet with entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan, find partners and develop strong economic ties.”

“Economic systems of Uzbekistan and the United States are similar. I wanted to note that wide opportunities for entrepreneurs have been created in our countries. In my opinion, the two countries should make fuller use of their capabilities in this area. In particular, it is necessary to pay more attention to the issues of training and raising specialists’ qualification.

Uzbekistan’s economy is developing rapidly and consistently. In the period of the former regime in Uzbekistan, private enterprise was banned. Comparing the present situation in your country with the past, you can see a huge change. This is one of the highest results of economic policies consistently implemented in Uzbekistan under the direction of President Islam Karimov.”
