CRN/RE’s editors write:
Mr. Alexey Abramov and Mr.Vyacheslav Simonenko became the winners of the rating for the third time on end (2008, 2010, 2012). Both MERLION’s top managers entered the Top-10 by the “Company’s positions in the market” (Mr. Alexey Abramov ranked first) and the “Business insight” (here Mr. Vyacheslav Simonenko was the first) criteria. Mr. Alexey Abramov was also praised among 10 best managers by the “Personal contribution to company’s achievements” and the “Leadership skills” criteria.

This is what Mr. Konstantin Yermakov, the head of POWERCOM’s representation office in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, says about him: “Heading the Board of Directors in such a big company is not an easy task, but bringing a company to the leading positions and keeping it there from year to year is even more difficult”.

Mr. Alex Kim, the head of ASUS’s office in Russia, considers Mr. Alexey Abramov “the strongest manager with superior business insight and leadership skills”. As Mr. Alex Kim notes, excellent business insight is inherent also in Mr. Vyacheslav Simonenko — he is distinguished by “the ability to find new approaches and unconventional solutions”.

Ms. Larisa Senina, General Manager of SONY ELECTRONICS’s Computing, Photo and Mobile Electronic Equipment Sales Development division, voted for MERLION’s leaders, valuing highly their “level of current objective business reality perception and understanding of development trends” as well as “flexibility in business approaches and ability to breed such flexibility in their employees”. Ms. Larisa Senina thinks that Mr. Alexey Abramov and Mr. Vyacheslav Simonenko possess “personal professionalism in various spheres related to business” and, besides, they are able “to motivate a team of professionals and to build there the right spirit, which will permit to concentrate on key missions responding to constant challenges of the market”.

It is worth mentioning that in 2011 MERLION won CRN/RE rating “Best IT Distributors” in three nominations at once: “Distributor for System Integrator”, “Distributor for Retails” (1-st prize), “Distributor for Assembler”.
