OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2012. Belarus' internal debt increased 1.7% on the month in July 2012 to 36.419 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of August 1, 2012 by the International Monetary Fund's Special Data Dissemination Standards, an official with Belarus' Finance Ministry told reporters.

Belarus' internal debt expanded by 12.9% in January-July 2012. Adjusted for inflation, the debt grew by 0.8% since January 1, 2012.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 48.7%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 51.3%.
