Deficit of Trade Balance of Moldova with EU Up 2,9%
OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2012. According to NBS, export of Moldovan goods to EU countries amounted to a sum o f USD 577.1 mln., made up 47.9% of the total Moldovan export and grew 1.2% as compared with the same period of 2011.
At the same time, Moldova imported 1.0% less goods from EU at a sum of USD 1 bln. 267.9 mln., which was 44.1% of the total Moldovan import. In January-July, 2012, the greatest amount of goods exported to EU fell to Romania and amounted to USD 194.2 mln, 6.0% down as compared with the same period of 2011.
Then follow: Italy - USD 133.8 mln. (+12.3%); the Great Britain- USD 46.9 mln. (-12.7%); Poland - USD 42.4 mln. (+1.7%); Germany - USD 39.0 mln. (-37.0%); Bulgaria - USD 20.2 mln. (+21.8%); Hungary - USD 16.5 mln. (+54.6%); France - USD 16.4 mln. (+35.9%) and the Netherlands - USD 11.3 mln. (+56.2%). The greatest amount of imported goods fell to Romania and accounted for USD 323.6 mln. (+0.5%).
Then follow: Germany - USD 218.5 mln. (+1.4%); Italy - USD 188.6 mln. (-5.2%); Poland - USD 78.6 mln. (+17.8%); Austria - USD 63.9 mln. (+28.1%); France- USD 52.6 mln. (+1.6%); Hungary - USD 51.3 mln. (-7.3%);Bulgaria - USD 39.7 mln. (+4.0%), the Great Britain - USD 36.9 mln. (+2.6%),Czech Republic - USD 36.2 mln. (+21.5%); Greece - USD 29.5 mln. (-33.9%); the Netherlands - \\$27.4 mln. (+2.1%); and others.
