OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2012. The Taxes Ministry of Azerbaijan reports of balanced expansion of taxable base in 2012: for Jan-Aug alone it expanded by 41,726 taxpayers.

The Ministry informs that 49,406 taxpayers passed registration in the country for this period. At that, from 1 July 2011 to 1 September 2012, 40.483 individual entrepreneurs (individuals involved in entrepreneurship activity without creating legal entity) passed electronic registration.

"As a result, by 1 September the country numbered 462,106 taxpayers," the Ministry stated.

Last year 67,376 taxpayers passed registration in the country, including 10,075 individual entrepreneurs passing online registration (from 1 July to the end of the year). As of 1 January 2012 Azerbaijan numbered 420,380 taxpayers. In 2011 share of tax declarations was brought up to 90.5%.

With taking into account these indicators, already 30,408 individual entrepreneurs have passed online registration this year.
