OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2012. Minister of Finance Yuriy Kolobov has held a meeting with delegates of Chevron company. The meeting involved Eduard Stavytskyi, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine. Chevron has been represented by Derek Magness, General Manager of Chevron Onshore Europe, and Craig Rice, Vice President of Chevron Business Development.

Chevron officials have highly appreciated transparency and competency of completed tenders for hydrocarbon extraction in Ukraine. Mr. Derek Magness thanked Ministry of Finance for helping to draft related laws having emphasized that proficient legal support of Product Sharing Agreements has built a solid foundation for long-time partnership with the Ukrainian Government.

As a response, Minister of Finance Yuriy Kolobov said that trusting by large foreign investors such as Chevron is an important contribution to enhance our country’s investment climate.
