OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2012. Within the framework of the program of replacing gas with coal the Government must immediately solve the issue of building the first 5 enterprises of coal gasification.

The relevant instruction was given by the President to the Cabinet of Ministers and personally to Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yuri Boyko in the course of Ukrainian council on maintenance of the real economy.

“We’ve launched the program of replacing gas with coal in our energy sphere. Given that we need more gas than we produce we’ve decided to build factories that would generate coal into gas,” the President said.

The President noted that the Government and the relevant Ministry must immediately solve the issue on the regions where new enterprises are to be build. He noted that 3.5 billion dollars would be provided for that project and the funding would be started in 2012.
