OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2012. As part of the Sberbank of Russia and Troika Dialog integration process, Peter Holowka has been appointed Head of E-FX, Managing Director. Peter joined the company on September 10 and will report to Maxim Safonov, Head of FICC, Managing Director. In his new position Peter will develop the E-FX trading strategy and build upon the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) team’s extensive global offering.

Peter brings over 25 years of experience in the global FICC markets across London, New York and Tokyo. He joins from Unicredit, where he held the position of Global Head of eCommerce CIB, responsible for managing the development and deployment of online FX trading and options capabilities. Peter began his career as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he worked for ten years before being appointed Director and Global Head of Forwards at BZW/Barclays Capital. He has also held Senior level Sales and Trading positions at BNP Paribas and Royal Bank of Canada.

This appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires as Sberbank of Russia and Troika Dialog expand their FICC team. As part of this process Dean Tyler was appointed as Head of International Fixed Income Sales, Managing Director, Mazen Nomura as Head of Credit Trading, Managing Director, Kirill Zarezov as Head of FIG Sales, Director, Evgeny Ageshin as Head of Corporate Sales, Director, and Andrew Howe as International Fixed Income Sales, Director.
