OREANDA-NEWS.  September 12, 2012. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, within the last 12 months, from August, 2011 till August, 2012, the Consumer Price Index increased 4.4%. Deflation made up 0.1% in July, 2011; inflation was 4.8% in January-August, 2011 and 9.2% in August, 2011-August, 2012.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in August, 2012 prices for foodstuff went 0.5% up, prices for nonfoods increased 0.4% ; tariffs for services grew 0.2%. According to official statistics, in August, prices grew by 13.8% for dietary eggs , by 1.4% for meat and canned meat, namely by 3.9 for pork, 2.8% for mutton, 1.8% for beef and 1% for poultry.

Prices also grew 9.1% for fat, 1.3 for dairy, namely 1.9% for whole milk, 1.6% for curds, 1.2% for cream and soar cream. Prices went up 22.3% for marrows, 9.7% for cucumbers, 2.85 for cabbages, 1.1% for wheat bread and 0.9% for rye bread. Among non-foods, in Jly, 2012 the greatest increase in prices was registered for fuel, which went up 0.9%, namely combustibles increased 1.2%, and firewood grew 1.1% in prices.

Children cloths grew 1% in prices. Namely, the school uniform price increased as follows: The price for trousers increased 1.8%, the price for shirts and blouses grew 1.7%, the price for skirts went 1.4% up. Foot wear prices grew 0.2%, including the children one by 0.4%. The cigarette price grew 4.3%. At the same time, in August, 2012 prices decreased 4.1% for fresh vegetables, including 24.4% for aubergines, 29.2% for water melons, 12.7% for carrots, 9% for sweet peppers, 8 % for onions and 6% tomatoes.

Prices also declined 7.2% for stone fruits, 6.8% for seed fruits, 6.1% for grapes and 0.5% for potatoes. As for services to population, in August there was a growth in prices for international railway transportation by 3.3% and passenger air transportation by 1.8%. Prices for education and dental services grew 2.8% and 0.9% respectively.
