OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2012. Due to the aircraft delivery complications, we decide to suspend our Shenzhen=Sydney route, which had been planned for December 3rd 2012.

Hainan Airlines commenced operations on the Shenzhen=Sydney route on January 19th 2011. We would like to thank everybody who has supported us during the development and operation of the route. Additionally, we would like to thank all passengers who we served on this route for all their support – it was a pleasure having you fly with us.

As the company's new aircraft introducing schedule is facing adjustment, we are left with no option but to suspend the flight plan of Shenzhen=Sydney route. We offer our sincere apology for any inconvenience this suspension may cause.

In the future we will reanalyze our fleet, in order to ascertain how to best serve Sydney=Shenzhen and when is the best time to commence operations for this.

We again offer our apologies for any inconveniences cause and sincerely thank all passengers for their ongoing support. We hope to see you fly with us again soon.
