OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2012. According to the preliminary data of the association "Ukrautoprom", 7 thousand 302 motor vehicles were produced in August 2012 in Ukraine, which is 9% more than in July, and 20.7% lower than last year. 

The volume of passenger cars production in August amounts 6,535 units (6.3% more than in July, however, by 22.1% less than in August 2011).

The commercial vehicles production is fixed at the level of 357 cars (72.5% more than in July, and 4.0% lower than in August 2011.)

Bus production in August has exceeded the July figure is almost by 20%, to 410 buses. Compared to the previous year the production of buses has declined by 7.7%.

In the whole for eight months of 2012 Ukrainian automotive industry has produced 53 thousand 818 vehicles, which is 19.8% less than last year. Among them:

passenger cars – 49,226 pcs. (-21.7%);
commercial vehicles – 2,355 pcs. (+8.1%);
buses – 2,237 pcs. (+8.2%).
