OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2012. Sviaz-Bank has taken part in the ceremony unveiling the first and second stages of the heap leaching complex built by Tardan Gold LLC, a division of the Auriant Mining company, Sweden, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The complex was built with 500 million rubles in funds loaned by Sviaz-Bank. Gold recovery operations were financed by the Bank as well. The first batches of the precious metal recovered at the Tardan Gold LLC complex were shipped on August 27 of this year.

Within the framework of its program to lend funds to mining industry companies, Sviaz-Bank entered into gold sale agreements with the gold mining company on delivery of over 400 kilograms of gold to the Bank in 2012. The Bank has purchased more than 300 kilograms of gold from the company since 2010.

In 2012, the Bank plans to expand its geographical reach for purchasing gold from gold mining companies in the Transbaikalian region, the republics of Tyva and Khakasia, and in Krasnoyarsk Territory.
