Over 700000 TNK Service Station Customers Join CARBON Loyalty Program
OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2012. TNK-BP announces that its CARBON loyalty program has picked up over 700,000 members in less than one year: users of TNK’s service stations appreciate the convenience, safety and unique opportunities that come with the CARBON card, reported the press-centre ТNК-ВР.
TNK-BP launched the CARBON loyalty program in the autumn of 2011: the card combines the convenience of an international banking card with the benefits of a bonus scheme. After each purchase of fuel or goods, bonus points are credited to the card, which can then be used to pay for fuel or other items in TNK’s service station stores. They can also be used to buy goods and services fr om program partners, including Euroset and the Russian Automobile Fellowship. The CARBON card is accepted wh erever the MasterCard sign is displayed, with 1.5% of the value of each purchase being added to our customers’ bonus accounts.
The Company is continuously expanding the possibilities of the CARBON card by offering new services. In 2012, a mobile application for smartphones was launched that creates a personal account for each program participant, and it became possible to make money transfers to TNK service stations. Customers now also receive bonus points when they pay their utility bills via their personal account on the www.carbon-card.ru website. By the end of 2012 there are plans to open an online catalogue for buying goods over the Internet using accumulated bonus points as a means of payment.
“The next step in the development of the program is to improve the service management system and to devise new personalized offers. In the near future we plan to sign up several more major national partners in various fields, which will expand opportunities to use the card and make it possible to accumulate bonus points faster”, said Amir Feizulin, First Deputy Executive Vice President, Downstream.
