OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2012. Over the last eight months of 2012, Surgutneftegas produced almost 40,878.4 thousand tons of crude oil, which means almost a 1.1% increase

in comparison to the same period of 2011.

For the year to date, crude output in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) exceeded 4,278.6 thousand tons.

In the period from January to August 2012, gas production amounted to almost 8,107 million cubic meters.

In-house drilling within eight months of the current year went beyond

3,254 thousand meters of rock including exploratory drilling reaching almost

140 thousand meters. Compared to January-August of the previous year, development and exploratory drilling grew by 4.8% and 12.8%, respectively.
