OREANDA-NEWS.  September 10, 2012. According to ANRCETI, the bulk of this sum was received from sales Internet access services. The growth was determined by higher sales volumes at Moldtelecom, Orange Moldova and Starnet. In particular, incomes grew 19.2% to 267.7 mln. leis at Moldtelecom, 12.7% to 13.9 mln. leis at Orange Moldova and 7.2% -to 55.8 mln. leis and Starnet.

Incomes of other operators of this market declined 3.4% to 43.3 mln. leis. In January-June, 2012, the Average Revenue per User declined 5.8% to 136.7 leis in the Internet fixed access market, ANRCETI reports.

The greatest incomes volume fell to Orange Moldova and Starnet at which ARPU was 551.1 and 143.1 leis respectively. ARPU at Moldtelecom amounted to 133.9 leis , being 85.7 leis at Sun Communications. In the first six months of 2012 there were 53 operators in the market of data transmission and fixed Internet access in Moldova.

As for sales volumes, the major player of the market, Moldtelecom, held the share market of 70.6%; the shares of Starnet and Orange Moldova made 14.5% and 3.6% respectively. The rest 50 providers held the 11.3% share.
