OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2012. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov promised the state order for production produced by the Kharkiv Tractor Plant named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze JSC. He stated this during a working visit to the Kharkiv Region.

Thus, Mykola Azarov promised the state orders for manufacturing of agricultural and military vehicles and machinery for the construction of highways. "We need machinery for our agriculture, well, you're manufacturing road vehicles because we are building the large volume of roads, and the army has to be re-equipped, because we have old armoured vehicles. That is, your enterprise will have the orders, and if there will be orders - will be both job and the prospect," Mykola Azarov said.

Meanwhile he stressed the Government would support other domestic machine-building enterprises as well.

In particular, the PM pointed out that the Ministry of Defence and the Ukrautodor should draw attention to the products produced by Kharkiv Tractor Plant.

According to Mykola Azarov, Ukraine needs modern technics, which needs to be bought at domestic factories because due to this there will be created new jobs, will grow production and will be increased wages.
