OREANDA-NEWS. September 7, 2012. The certification procedure of the Personalization Center created at the basis of the Moscow Printing Works – Branch of Goznak for its compliance to the requirements and standards of MasterCard international payment system in physical and logical security was accomplished in August 2012.

According to the rules of MasterCard international payment system, Goznak was qualified for rendering services of MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus banking cards personalization.

Earlier Goznak had certified the infrastructure of banking card form manufacture according to the requirements of MasterCard and Visa payment systems.

The Personalization Center is equipped with modern high-efficiency machinery and is a component part of the complex infrastructure of the full cycle of product manufacture and personalization using electronic data carriers created at the basis of Goznak.

According to Mikhail Luchinkin, Head of Integration Division of Goznak, “The certification procedure completion will enable Goznak to provide the complex service of MasterCard payment system banking card issuance – from the banking card forms manufacture up to their personalization. Now we are dealing with the matters of the Personalization Center certification in the Visa international payment system and hope to accomplish the process before the end of the year.

Founding of the Personalization Center certified according to the requirements of the payment systems together with other integration projects will enable Goznak to realize innovative projects connected with manufacture and personalization of products with electronic data carriers, including application of those products for non-cash payments for retail goods and services using contactless technologies”.
