OREANDA-NEWS. September 07, 2012. In August 2012, the number of loans has been provided by partner banks on the State Mortgage Institution (SMI) program made 171 mortgage loans totaling over UAH 42.6 million.

Loans are provided for the purchase by Ukrainian citizens of the individual housing for permanent residence.

Since early 2012, the SMI signed deals on refinancing (purchase) 681 mortgage loans worth over UAH 167.8 million. In 2011, these figures were 290 mortgage loans totaling UAH 76.4 million.

The average rate on mortgage loans from the SMI that were refinanced in August 2012 amounted to 14.46% per annum.
