It has been held a briefing of the Head of the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko in the press center of the Government House. "For one week, the Government approved two documents that are fundamental for the implementation of e-government in Ukraine.

These are – the Strategy of development of information society in Ukraine and the Concept of the establishment and operation of the information system of electronic interaction of government electronic resources" - the Chairman of the State Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization said.

Recall that on August 29, 2012 the Cabinet approved the draft presidential decree "On the Strategy of Information Society Development in Ukraine", which was developed by the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine. At today's meeting of the Cabinet it has been approved the Concept for the establishment and operation of the information system of electronic interaction of government electronic resources.

Volodymyr Semynozhenko noted that the implementation of the Strategy will promote the introduction of information and communication technologies in all spheres of public life. E-democracy, e-economy, e-education and e-medicine are gradually becoming common phenomena for us, he says.

According to him, the information system of electronic interaction between of government electronic resources, the establishment of which is provided by approved today the Concept, will be the technology platform for the main components of e-governance. In particular, based on it a "one stop window" will be operates that provide administrative services to individuals and legal entities. The main thing is that the system of electronic interaction will provide automated exchange of information between existing databases and will then "add" to the single information space new databases. Significant effect of the introduction of such a system not only save time as officials and citizens, but also save the budget funds that is sent to the functioning of government information resources.

"Today, there is a serious, confident and consistent work on the development of the information society" - Volodymyr Semynozhenko summed up.
