DONAVIA Board of Directors Appointed New CEO
OREANDA-NEWS. September 06, 2012. JSC DONAVIA Board of Directors, Alexander Steblin assumed office as the company’s CEO.
Mr. Steblin was born in 1966. He was an honors graduate of Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute and American Institute of Business and Economics. From 2004, he worked for Sibir Airlines. From 2008 through July 2012 he was CEO of Globus Airlines (S7 Group).
JSC DONAVIA is part of the AEROFLOT Group.
AEROFLOT the is the leader of the Russian air transport industry, member of SkyTeam alliance. Its overall route network comprises 983 destinations in 178 countries. In 2011 Aeroflot carried over 14 million people.
DONAVIA (Aeroflot-Don before September 25, 2009) is Aeroflot's subsidiary founded on March 30, 2000 and based in the airports of Rostov-on-Don, Mineralnye Vody, and Sheremetyevo airport (Moscow).
DONAVIA is included in the registry of IOSA (IATA operating safety audit) operators in December 2008, and has repeatedly requalified. The status of an IOSA registered operator certifies that the carrier has successfully passed IATA operating safety audit.
