OREANDA-NEWS. September 6, 2012. OJSC Pukhovichi Cardboard Factory (based in Minsk Region) will soon be imperforated by OJSC Belarus’ Wallpaper Holding Company, the wallpaper company administration told reporters.

The final decision will be made at the extraordinary shareholders meeting scheduled for September 7, 2012.

The idea to merge the cardboard factory with the wallpaper manufacturer was prompted by Bellesbumprom Concern (Belarus’ Timber and Paper Industries Concern).

“The cardboard factory has recently started a modernization programme and is currently in a difficult financial situation. Besides, cardboard is a commodity that sells all year around unlike wallpaper, a representatives of the wallpaper company told reporters.
