OREANDA-NEWS.  September 06, 2012. Sberbank is launching a pilot project where its headquarters will receive information from Russian Unified State Register of Rights to Immovable Property and Related Transactions (EGRP) and State Immovable Property Cadastre (GKN) in electronic format. Electronic data from EGRP and GKN will be received when Sberbank is granting loans, providing bank guarantees and issuing letters of credit secured by immovable property, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.

The availability of information from EGRP and GKN in electronic format will allow the customers of Sberbank not to visit the offices of Russian Federal Registration Service in person while ensuring a faster and more convenient way of providing the required documents to the bank.

At the same time, the customers of Sberbank may continue to provide the information from EGRP and GKN in paper format.

This pilot project will last until the end of 2012.
